      This article is about the small but beautiful state of Hawaii. The shoreline along Makapuu Point, Oahu, Hawaii is on of the beautiful shores that have been eroding over the years. Scientist say that millions of years from now, the mighty islands of Hawaii will be mere vestiges of the magnificent island seen today. scientist studied over 150 miles of coastlines. A small percentage of Hawaii's beaches had grown or stayed the same. Also the average rate of coastal change was 0.4 feet of erosion per year from the early 1900s to 2000s. many coastlines have had large amounts of erosion but the most extreme amount of erosion was nearly 6 feet per year near. Soon the great island of Hawaii will be like the great Titanic at the bottom of the sea floor left a mystery.
