The Candle Lab
The candle lab was really cool to watch and it did give me a better understanding. The physical change is when we lit the candle on fire. Then chemical change is when we lit the candle an we mixed the two ingredients that suffocated the flame and put the flame out. The marshmallow lab was extremely fun and it did help me learn a lot about physical andchemical change. This lab showed us a physical change when my group and I ripped the tiny marshmallow in half. The lab showed us a chemical change when we burned our individual marshmallows. When using something that is fun to learn in makes us want to learn about it more and it makes it easy to learn about.
The Sugar Cane Lab
The sugar cane lab was also very fun and educational. The physical change in this lab was when my group and i broke up the sugar cube. Then the chemical change was them we burned the sugar cubes. It was a very messy lab but very fun. Some things tasted good then sometimes it tasted bad. I am a very visual learner and this helped me a lot to figure things out.
